Holiday Ordering Guidelines

Recommendations for ordering custom logo cookies shipping from our bakery in MA, so your gifts arrive before the holidays empty out the office.

Read this first

We will not hold a production slot for an unconfirmed order!

Every cookie is baked to order, and our production schedule is filled first come, first served. A single order can be 10,000 cookies or more, and one of those orders can block out entire production days with no warning to you. We have no way to hold your production slot until your order is officially submitted and confirmed.

The short version: a date that is open when you read this can be gone by the time you come back. If your in-hands date is firm, place the order now rather than wait.
Order now, receive in December

Ordering early does not mean receiving early.

Place your order now and we schedule it for your December date. You are reserving a production slot, not starting a countdown — we handle the logistics so your cookies arrive fresh exactly when you need them.

Ordering early is the ONLY way to reserve your production slot during our busiest time of year! We will not hold production space unless your order has been submitted and confirmed.
Why Now, & Not Later

Gifts need to arrive before the office empties out.

Most of our corporate orders ship to offices, and office attendance thins out the week of Christmas. A gift that arrives too late often sits in an unattended mailroom until January, which is worse than arriving a week early. Use the table below as a general guideline to understand shipping transit times to your location. Orders DO NOT ship the same day they are placed.
We have a fast turn-around time, but do not wait that long!

How long will it take to get your cookies?

Sorted for urgency by distance — the farther your recipients are from our location in Massachusetts, the sooner you need to order. The example dates below assume you would like delivery on Dec 9th. Please keep in mind our production time increases on orders above 2,000 cookies. We confirm your actual production date when we schedule your order. Seasonal and weather delays are possible.

About these dates

These are examples only - Confirm availability with our team!

  • Carriers slow down in December: Ground service that runs three days in September can run four or five in the middle of peak season. Try to plan for an extra transit day if possible.
  • No UPS guarantee on ground delivery dates during the holidays: Peak season service commitments are suspended industry-wide. We do our best to account for this and will send your order 1-day early when possible.
  • Northeast weather: We ship out of central Massachusetts. A storm can add days to your transit time and is entirely out of our control. We have no influence with UPS regarding your package once it leaves our facility.
  • Order Volume: Production time scales with your order. Orders above 2,000 cookies take longer and need more lead-time — the bigger the order, the earlier it should be placed with us!

Your ship date

Once your order is placed, confirmed and scheduled, we commit to ship by the date we gave you. That date is perfectly planned for your cookies to arrive fresh. If anything on our end changes it, you hear from a person, not an automated email.

Carrier transit time

Once the cookies leave our bakery, delivery is in the carrier's hands. We provide tracking information for every shipment, but December transit times are an estimate from us and from UPS - we cannot make a guarantee due to unpredictable weather and increased shipping carrier volume.

We do our best to get ahead of schedule, and expedited shipping can buy back several days. It depends entirely on what is still open on the schedule — which is why we always recommend giving us a call!
